The Spiritual Orchid 靈蘭

After suffering with a virulent stomach flu I am now back (though still not 100% better!). There are new pages in on basic herb qualities in The Healer section. I have plans to add the foundation information required to comprehend Chinese medicine over the coming days.

The basic underlying structure is up, but the design needs a bit of work.

I am hoping that I don't need to pull it all apart again and can begin adding content. I am much more interested in the content than the technical side. As an ex-geek I initially intended to build a bespoke system carefully from the ground up, but after much careful consideration decided "f*** it" and went for the quicker and less painful route re-utilizing stuff that was just lying about...

As a Daoist-in-training, I believe it is important to "Go with the Flow"

Too much to do to spend time on a major post right now. The idea is to create a reference of use to all students and practitioners of Oriental medicine and the "Internal" martial arts, but with the eventual aim of spreading the information to a wider audience.

Knowlege developed in the West will also be included where relevent. Just because it isn't 5000 years old doesn't mean it isn't useful - but don't worry I won't focus on it more than necessary.

The Spiritual Orchid will grow from these humble beginnings and the first true blooms should be visible in the spring.
